Mobile app issues
Here is a summary of the known issues and limitations with the Pexip mobile apps.
Android
- If you are in a conference and the phone receives a standard call, the Pexip call will drop (regardless of whether you answer the incoming call or not).
- Invited participants reach a “No answer” state before dialing is supposed to end.
- Disconnected participants are displayed in the list for more time than what might be expected.
- “Server error” is displayed in the app after updating pin codes from MyPages.
- The owner can’t invite participants into locked rooms. Falsely appears to dial in the interface even though it is not really dialing.
- When making a video call, the app does not use any connected Bluetooth devices — it only uses the phone's internal mic and speaker. For voice-only calls the app works as expected.
iOS
- A host is unable to admit participants from the locked VMR lobby via the roster.
- Chat is only supported in portrait/vertical orientation. In landscape/horizontal orientation a "Rotate your device to chat" message is displayed.
- When plugging in headphones while connecting to a room, the sound can come from the device speaker.
- You can’t invite someone by dialing who is not in the company directory.
- The button to open the participant's list sometimes disappears.
- Sharing video is not currently supported.
